Advantages: Great games selection

Disadvantages: Price

Gameboy is extremely successful to have survived to this day, seeing that it wasreleased about 10 years ago as the chunky white piece of plastic it was. There are many peripherals and games for it, seeing that it has a back catalogue spanning just over 10 years. Nintendo have definately kept it up to date with the ongoing advancement of technology. They've made it compact, colourised and now they are planning to improve the quality of the images displayed on the screen with the upcoming release of the gameboy advanced. It really is quite an acheivement.

Besides all of its ups, there are some downs. The Gameboy cartridges come at a rip-off price averaging at about £25 per game. I really think that the amount you get for handing this amount over is totally unacceptable, although some may argue that the cartridges are expensive to create than CDs. There are brinks whenever Nintendo were at a crisis, but thanks to the Pokemon phenomena, they've been saved.

I'm sure many households would already have at least one version of the Gameboy. If not, it really is a piece of videogame history that everyone should have.

GBA will be very good. Maybe some information on the peripherals that you can get, and maybe even the specs of the machine itself. Quite a few typo's as well. Still a more than worthy opinion though.

I am very much looking forward to the Game Boy Advance. It will be compatible with the nintendo Game Cube, so theyre both gonna be huge hits for nintendo. I can't wait! Nice op as well, just needs to be a little longer!
