A football game seems somewhat ambitious for the small british developer Game-Play Studios’ first game on the game boy, but it is actually a very good attempt. The game is quiet varied, with several different surfaces to play on (clay, tarkmac, sand and grass) and one of the main advantages of Pocket Socker is the way that your team develops and trains, working on the weaknesses and gradually creating a team that can take on anyone! The graphics in the game are nothing exceptional, but lets not forget this is a gameboy game, and attemting a full 3d football game is quite a feat!
