Two of the first pokemon games ever and in my view two of the greatest.
In the pokemon world you have to be prepared to fight catch and train your pokemon to get them to the top of the pokemon world. You start with just one pokemon at level 5 you can either have a bulbasuar a charmander or a squirtle its up to you. The pokemon are different types you can get water type like squirtle, fire type like charmander, grass type like bulbasuar and much more.
When you start of you start in a little town called Pallet Town where you will find Proffeser Oak Who is like you mentor and gives you your first pokemon.
Like any good game you have a rival Gary Who trys to battle you many times throughout the game with everytime his pokemon getting stronger and stronger. To get to the top you will have to train your pokemon which will eventually make them evolve into new stronger pokemon for example squirtle evolves into wartortle then wartortle into Blastoise who is the strongest of them all. To get to the top you must defeat the gym leaders, this is an essential in the game as they give you badges which you need to collect to get to the pokemon masters. Whilst There are different types of pokemon there are also different types of moves more than 100 plus in fact!
In your pokemon world you will get a pokedex which shows your count of pokemon. If you want to complete the pokedex you do need Two cartrideges of a game link cable. This means if you do you can Trade pokemon with your freinds and challenge to really see who really can catch em all

As this is a very old game the graphics are not of all that good quality and it is set out in black and white with just a few hints of colour. The games does contain many glitches as its not of that good of quality. Also the game does have sound but frankly it is not that good and gets quite annoying
