Pokemon blue is like Pokemon red, the only difference is the pokemon that you can catch, Pokemon is Japanese for pocket monster, you can always trust the Japanese to bring us these weird and wonderful things. I think that Pokemon is a very good game, although it is getting a bit old now. I have got all 151 pokemon, the last 5 were very hard to get. You probably know, but the whole idea of pokemon is to be a pokemon master. Two ways: Complete the Pokemon League, in which you have to beat the Elite Four, who are Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha and ... It isn't bad enough that the whole craze we know as Pokemon has swept over from the coasts of Japans, but now it has stricken up a huge surplus of merchandise that pack the British shelves. WHY !!!! Pokemon Blue and Red are a brilliant pair of games. The only difference between the two is they both have Pokemon on the cartridges which can only be caught on Red or Blue, such as Bellsprout being available only on Red. The idea of the game is that you are a young boy who sets out to catch all 150 Pokemon for Professor Oak, who gives you on ... Read the complete review

Pokemon for the game must have been one of the most overated games I have seen. O.K when I first started playing it I found that it was very addictive and good fun and it was slightly challenging. But the more and more I was playing the game the more boring it started to become. The wild pokemon were becoming no obstacle I could beat the gym ... Read the complete review

General/Summary: Surely you all have heard of it. Pokemon. The name brings shouts of joy from the mouths of some, and strikes fear in the hearts of others. But ignore the fad for a minute. Put aside the commercials, the screaming throngs of children, and the announcements on the mall information boards. Just concentrate for a moment on Pokemon the ... Read the complete review

I bought this game, after all the hype had gone away, just to find that all in all, it’s not very good. Okay, okay, I admit it, the idea of the game is excellent, a boy leaves home on search for Pokémon the wild (or not so wild) pocket monsters that live in various places in various cities on various different Islands. He has ... Read the complete review

Pokemon Red is much the same a Pokemon Blue. In the game you play Ash a ten-year-old boy whose mission is to become a Pokemon master. The aim of the game is to collect all 150 Pokemon. However to collect them all you have to trade with other Pokemon Blue Gamers. If you liked the TV program then chances are that you will like this game. This ... Read the complete review

Pokemon Gold and Silver are the follow ups to pokemon red and blue. These games are due for release in England in April 2001. At first I wasn’t too fond of the childish idea of the game (I’d seen the TV series). But convinced by a friend I actually bought the blue version of this game. Pokemon is a game for the Nintendo Game Boy system. It follows the story of a young boy (He is called Ash in the Cartoon version but in the game you can call him whatever you want) who ventures out into the world of Pokemon. Pokemon Red and blue are alright games but not as good as pokemon yellow or the incoming pokemon gold and silver. This is because many of the pokemon are not available, you can only catch one of the 3 starting pokemon unlike in the yellow version where you can catch all 3.
