Advantages: Better than pokemon red/blue versions

Disadvantages: very similar to pokemon red/blue versions

Pokemon yellow:special pikachu edition is the same as pokemon red/blue but pikcahu doesn't want to go in his pokeball and so follows ash around on the screen. Pikachu follows ash around on the screen but you can still take him to the pokemon center or use him in a battle. Like in the cartoon series pikcahu is Ash's very first pokemon and follows you about everywhere you go. Pokemon yellow is a good RPG game where you have to go around talking to people, collecting pokemon and then battling with your pokemon. The graphics and sound are good for the gameboy and the game is very playable as you will want to go back to this again and again to catch all the pokemon and get them on higher levels. You can even trade pokemon with your friends using a link cable. This is an excellent game and if you aint got red or blue then get it. The game is extremely similar to pokemon red/blue so is only worth getting really if you aint got pokemon red/blue versions.
