One of the few games to make use of the Game Boy Color's infrared communications port though I've not been able to check this feature out for myself. There's a 3D rendition of Rayman in the introduction which, for a GBC is pretty impressive. Luckily, the quality of graphics do not let up in this game - through the light of my GBA SP Rayman looks great! The detail, the use of colours and animation are all fine. However, at times it's not clear whether something is part of the background or not though you'll soon pick up on this. Somewhat of a slow starter is the music. This is an original platformer, starring Rayman, an armless, legless and neckless little man. STORY 6/10 Rayman has to explore new lands, saving the animals which have been trapped in cages by an evil man! Along the journey, he defeats many bosses (if you are good at the game) and learns new skills, including a kickass punch and helicopter hair to make him fly! When you complete a level, you are given a special code which you can enter at the beginning to proceed from where you ended.
