Advantages: good graphics, Many worlds, Many tricks
Disadvantages: can become annoying at times
This is an original platformer, starring Rayman, an armless, legless and neckless little man. STORY 6/10 Rayman has to explore new lands, saving the animals which have been trapped in cages by an evil man! Along the journey, he defeats many bosses (if you are good at the game) and learns new skills, including a kickass punch and helicopter hair to make him fly! When you complete a level, you are given a special code which you can enter at the beginning to proceed from where you ended. The code is annoyingly long and takes a while to type in but its still good! The game is mainly for children but still takes quite a while to complete. GAMEPLAY 7/10 Throughout the game, you visit many original different worlds, including a forest, a land of music (my favourite) and a rocky world. The game is easy to use and fun! GRAPHICS 9/10 These are some of the best I have seen for the Gameboy Color! In between worlds, there is a 3D clip of Rayman which I thought was brilliant for the gameboy! MUSIC 6/10 The music throughout the game is different with each world but if you get annoyed with it, you can always turn down the volume! The game is exactly the same as on the playstation which is why the graphics amazed me so much. OVERALL SCORE 7/10 (Not averaged)
