In a sort of "Destruction Derby" effect, all weapons require the player to accelerate and crash into his or her opponent to reduce the enemy's health bar. "Robot Wars: Metal Mayhem" is a video game released for the Gameboy Color console in 2000 by BBC Multimedia. It is based on the television series of the same name. I was not able to immediately find an age rating but would find this suitable for all ages. In keeping with the television series, gameplay reflects what is seen on-screen. The player has the opportunity to design and build his or her own custom specification robot and do battle within the confines of an arena which features the notorious "pit".
