... simple though comes across as being flawed. There are numerous weapons which the player can equip to his or her robot but they appear to all achieve the same end. In a sort of "Destruction Derby" effect, all weapons require the player to accelerate and crash into his or her opponent to reduce the enemy's health bar. "Robot Wars: Metal Mayhem" is a video game released for the Gameboy Color console in 2000 by BBC Multimedia. It is based on the television series of the same name. I was not able to immediately find an age rating but would find this suitable for all ages. In keeping with the television series, gameplay reflects what is seen on-screen. The player has the opportunity to design and build his or her own custom specification robot and do battle within the confines of an arena which features the notorious "pit".
