The game itself is best described as Football (same pitch layout, score in the same way) and rugby (violent, and you use your hands rather than kicking the ball) it`s played with an up/down view (as were most sport sims in those days - Sensible, Kick Off etc which probably explains my inability to play current football games. Orginaly released on the Amiga, Speedball 2 arrived on the Gameboy back in the early nineties, I had played and loved the Amiga version to death, and was unsure how it would measure up on the gameboy - so i bought it. The idea behind Speedball2 (for our younger readers!) is to build a team that is capable of winning the Speedball league. You start off with a team, Brutal Deluxe, that has basicly got the leagues worst players in it.
