Interactive objects seems to have been of importance to the developers as many features of the game can be used by Tarzan, such as hanging vines for swinging and jumping from the backs of hippopotamuses in a sort of trampoline fashion. "Tarzan" is a video game released to the Gameboy Color console in 1999 by Activision. It is based on the animated Disney film of the same name. In the United States, the game received a rating of "E" by the ESRB panel which deemed it suitable for all ages. It is predominantly a single player game but does feature a small mini-game for multiplayer play. Gameplay is that of a typical platform title. The player must guide Tarzan through areas of wilderness in search of bananas to progress further into the game.
