This must have been a no-brainer for someone at Nintendo. Updating the most addictive, not to mention popular, puzzle game around for their color Gameboy must have seemed like a winner. And it is.

Exactly how you update Tetris is the problem. And the answer is you don't - it's perfect as it is. Instead, they add some useful save game features as well as more little animations for the good players to find.

The big problem with this version of Tetris is that it's a bit easier than the last. I found myself scoring almost twice what I can on the old Gameboy Tetris, and I actually know someone who managed to max out both the lines and the score counter on the game (after several hours play, mind you).

But it's a minor complaint. This is the one game you *must* own if you have a Gameboy. It'll last you forever.
