Warioland 2 was the first game I got with my Gameboy colour and it's managed to provide many hours of entertainment. Being new to the Gameboy at the time I'd not really had much experience with previous Mario games, except for a few goes on a PC based Gameboy emulator. Warioland impressed me with solid platform gaiming and a branching path to add a little more value into the game. The basic aim is to get to the end of each level. As with other platformers creatures will get in your way and there are coins to collect on route. There's nothing really new to the basic game.
