"Worms Armageddon" is a video game released for the Gameboy Color console in 2000 by Infogrames. It is a strategy game based on the long standing "Worms" game series. The ESRB panel in the United States rated this video game as "E" which deemed it suitable for all ages. There is both a single and multiplayer mode, with multiplayer play not requiring an optional game-link cable but simply sharing the console with the second player. The story is based on two teams of earthworms who do battle in attempts to eliminate the opposing force. The game has remained somewhat comparable throughout its lifecycle but "Armageddon" ... i got this title for my birthday and on the first play i was amazed at how good it was. the grafics were brilliant, the gameplay was there and it seemed every bit as good as the pc version. but then, after all the initial hype of getting a new game etc... i realised that it got quite boring after a while. the weapons were severly limited and it didnt have the fun of the original worms game. overall it still is a good game as it is on the gameboy and not the playstation or pc but it doesnt last and the fun is just not there.... ... Well first off, Team 17 have added a whole heap of new weapons, that you can play with including such beauties as atomic bombs, earthquakes, sheep strikes, flame throwers and the lovely holy hand grenade, just to name a few. You also have the option to have a go at at 30 mission based single player games where each time you are put in a situation (usually when you only ... Read the complete review

this is a disapionting game i liked the playstation version a lot but this one you can hardly see the worms and the bombs are too small and you cannot aim them very well.the coulor makes it a lot better than the last one because the stages like the moon and beaches are quite good though.the sound is good because the worms say things when they get hit like, i'll get you, which is good for the gameboy.it is better in when you play four player in teams because the game lasts longer and you can hide and blowtorch in the bigger areas.there are lots of good weapons like banna bombs and sheep which do loads of damage. ...
