"X-Men Mutant Wars" is a video game released for the Gameboy Color console in 2000 by Activision. It is a side scrolling action title featuring many hit characters from the popular "X-Men" comic book series. The game received an age rating of "E" by the ESRB panel in the United States deeming it suitable for all ages. Xmen Mutant Wars is the rare Xmen game released in 2000 that many fans didn't play. Unlike Streetfighter cloned Xmen Mutant Academy the game is an adventure featuring many but not all of the Xmen characters including Gambit, IceMan, Storm, Cyclops and Wolverine. Mutant Wars was made in cooperation with Marvel Comics, Activision, the Hal Corporation (Hal Labs) and Avit, so you would think this would a great game with the talent of game companies on here, for the most part it's a good game, but some problems like the controls hurt it a bit. Portable update of an all time classic., A real challenge, you won´t finish it in a hurry!, Nice graphics and sound. FMV cut scenes too. Control scheme has not translated well to the humble D-pad.Very very difficult. Made more so by the tough controls.No memorial hill.
