Super Smash Bros Melee (GC): ... s hard to believe just how long Mario has been around ,since his debut on the NES, he s had many adventures throughout all Nintendo systems from consoles to handhelds, having his own Kart racing game and even being a Doctor at one point. However one of the most popular Mario games of all is Super Smash Brothers 64. It s a 3d fighter that pits lots of your favourite Characters that Nintendo created from Zelda to Do...

briangilmour 1080° Avalanche (GC)
... game come in all shapes and sizes and it would appear styles. As the latest Gamecube game to have a go at sports is 1080 Avalanche. The 1080 series originated on the N64 and I remember it was one of the first games to go to budget price, I liked it back then although it didn t have the best look. This is the newer version of this snowboarding classic so lets see how it shapes up: Graphics - The snow looks awesome, I know it s just white but the tracks you leave and dents in the snow look really realistic and the skies are also very good looking. You ll enjoy the visuals of this game as the scenery is really awesome. Gameplay - Much like an ice hockey game, you gl...

briangilmour FIFA Street 2 (GC)
... the football genre overcrowded nowadays? Yes, yes it is. But when I think back to the days of the Amiga, Megadrive and even the PSX, it was much worse back then, there were football games coming out of every corner and each one worse than the next. I think now because FIFA and Pro Evo have took over as the top dogs no-one else even bothers anymore. So what do we have here? Fifa Street 2 . Yes it s the sequel to another Fifa title which this time is about 5 a sides instead of the full game of football. This is more about tricks and style than it is about scoring more goals than your opponent, it s a good idea but im afraid the novelty wears off pretty quickly. Graphic...

briangilmour King Kong (GC)
... remember the hype around King Kong when it was released with such a huge budget much was expected of the game to succeed and I guess on many accounts it did. I didn t go to the cinema to see it as I heard it was on for over 3 hours and didn t want my backside falling into a coma. So instead I rented the DVD, much like the film the game allows you to play as Jack Blacks character or Kong himself, you go through each level detroying your opponents and anything else that gets in your way. Graphics - They were excellent, probably the best part of the game is the way it looks, all the characters especially Kong himself are very well rendered and look awesome. Gameplay - T...
