Medal of Honor: Frontline (GC) ... is the game that really ensure the success of the Medal of Honour franchise, particularly after the very impressive first level on the beaches of Normandy. Other missions include spying missions behind enemy lines and sabotaging German U Boats. This was one of the most successful first person shooters for the Gamecube, and is still a lot of fun. The game also looks impressive and it has not dated particularly badly in terms of graphics, which is particularly important for a first person shooter. There is a real cinematic feel because of the excellent sound, for example when a gun is fired, however voice acting is particularly bad, not that that is a real issue. The g... The Legend of Zelda - The Twilight Princess (GC) ... of all it must be said that this game is much more difficult than it s immediate predecessor - Whether or not that s a good thing is up to you. As usual you must progress by travelling across a mystical kingdom to save it from dark forces and fight your way through dungeons. The dungeons come fairly close together and you must solve puzzles using items you collect such as boomerangs to pass through. At the end of each one you must defeat a boss of some kind, usually by attacking a hidden weak spot. These dungeons make up the bulk of the game. Freedom Fighters (GC) ... Fighters is based in a hypothetical USA after the Soviet Union wins the cold war and invades America. You play as the "Freedom Fighters" of the title fighting back against the Russians. You play from a third person perspective and can use plenty of different weapons such as Machine guns, Pistols and Molotov cocktails as just a few options. The levels are divided so you can choose what order to complete them but they are interlinked. For example, you may have to destroy a helipad in one in order to destroy a bridge in another, which makes the initial playthrough slightly more interesting although doesn t add much to the overall experience.
