Freedom Fighters (GC):
... Fighters is based in a hypothetical USA after the Soviet Union wins the cold war and invades America. You play as the "Freedom Fighters" of the title fighting back against the Russians. You play from a third person perspective and can use plenty of different weapons such as Machine guns, Pistols and Molotov cocktails as just a few options. The levels are divided so you can choose what order to comp... Read the full review: Different from the usual shooter by MB92 |

Medal of Honor European Assault (GC) ... you have ever played a Medal of Honour game before, you will know what to expect from this. If not, then it can best be described as a first person shooter set in World War Two. The title "European Assault" makes little sense - while there are some missions in Europe, I have never considered Russia or North Africa to be part of Europe! The game tries to add something new to the series by allowing you to control small numbers of soldiers, but they have such terrible programming that they are worse than useless, as whether you tell them to move somewhere or follow you, they will always slowly follow you around the level until they are inevitably killed by stand... The Incredibles (GC) ... actually half expected this game to be rubbish when I bought it, so I was very surprised when I found that it was actually quite good! You play as various members of the Incredibles that you can see in the film and each one has their own levels in a different style to the others. This means that it is more like a selection of minigames that are mostly good. My favourite levels are probably those of "Dash", in which you have to move around chasing after things as fast as you can. Mr Incredible (platform game style levels) also has some fun levels but there are a few that are really terrible due to annoying level design such as when you have to repeat certain se... Viewtiful Joe with Bonus (GC) ... of all, I have to tell you that this is a "love it or hate it" game. The 2D cell shaded graphics look really unique and beautiful in my opinion, but I am sure that a lot of people will hate them. Even if you don t like them, it is still worth giving the game a try because the gameplay is absolutely unique and so much fun! The premise of the game is that your character is sucked into a superhero s world where he gradually gains his powers and has to beat up enemiess in order to progress. There is also a puzzle element - for example, you may have to light a torch to progress. This is done by speeding up your punches until your fists catch fire and then punch...
