Donkey Konga 2 (GC) ... ve got a big soft spot for games which implement new hardware, I love Guitar Hero and Rock Band looks awesome, I m also into any games that you can use a wheel or a gun. Never did I think however that Bongo s would be a peripheral that would be given away with a videogame. Thats what we have here though with Donkey Konga 2. A collection of little mini-games challenges , missions and tasks for you to complete while marching to the beat of your own conga drum. A Sensational idea from Nintendo with this and it s way haead of it s time preceeding the likes of Guitar Hero by 3 years or so. NHL 2006 (GC) ... are many sports in the world that are great to watch and many that are great to play. Of course there are some that fall into both cateogories such as football. However another category has to be created for games that aren t great to play or watch but ARE great to emulate in a videogame. NHL is hockey is one that fits right into this cateogry like a glove. Ice hockey has always been good as a videogame all the way back to the megadrive, it s really fast and addictive. Barnyard (GC) ... content with Disey throwing out every kids movie under the sun, Nickelodian decided to team upwith Paramount pictures to create the feature animation movie "Barnyard" . Based on a the interesting lives of all the animals in a farm. Sound dull? Well it is to an extent I guess but you must remember that this is a kids game based on a kids show so one must lower expectations before jumping at the chance to critisise the game.
