Advantages: many challenges from each opposing character, good graphic and sound

Disadvantages: none

Pool Paradise is one of the few, surreptitious little games that drives you to fritter the hours of your life away playing it, without ever get as much as a hint to what it does for you. Its puzzlingly addictive nature simply can not be justified, but it helps solidify the game as one of the best games in the pool to come out on a console platform in many years. Even if you do not appreciate the game OFF-BEAT humor and odd shape, design, you simply can not deny that it gives some of the most polished pool gameplay around, and a very deep inventory of pool games and bonus games, which also happens to be quite fun. Even if Pool Paradise was not the only available pool game for the GameCube, it would still be a strong choice for all Billiards fan.

Not like many others pool games, Pool Paradise features something of a condition which for some reason happens to be almost entirely populated by those who's who of parodic pool sharks. You find yourself borrowing $ 200 from the local loan shark to start the game and you set out on a personal quest to work your way up the steps Pool Paradise's indigenous elite. The list of characters that you will challenge in the game is so strange, so strange is, from a rubber fetishist, decked in Pulp Fiction-esque "GIMP" gear, creating an intimidating, glove-wearing fellow named OJ Stump Stem. Throw in a kung fu guy, a couple of modern takes on some classic horror monsters, and you have an incredibly odd assortment of characters to play against.

Summary: fun pool game
