Gotcha Force (GC):
... can be deceiving. When I first saw this game on the shelf at GameStop, I didn t even bother with it. First of all, its called Gotcha Force - not exactly a cool, enticing title. I thought it was some lame kid s game. The packaging is pretty crappy too. If you go on popular review sites like IGN or GameSpot, you ll even see the game received mediocre reviews. I wrote the game off as trash until I stumbled over so... Read the full review: The ultimate toy versus toy battle! by randomreviews |

Viewtiful Joe (GC) ... is one of the biggest game and with this game they created something rather different. It seems like a game that you would only get to play in Japan but it s became quite popular with a sequel and a fighting game spin-off. The graphics are the first thing that set it apart. Instead of 3d it is a 2d sidescroller with cell shaded graphics. The second is the fact that whilst Joe is Viewtiful Joe he can speed up or slow down time but not infinitely. So when you slow down time it makes attacks easy to dodge and counter and if you speed up time your attacks do more damage with Viewtiful Joe literally going on fire. The time control aspect isn t just used for fighting i... Read the full review: A Viewtiful Experience by robertjb |

Resident Evil (GC) ... annoy a few people. The difficulty will vary with each character. I enjoyed the puzzles immensely and I m sure most people will too but then I think this depends on personal preference. I like puzzles, but people who don t will probably become frustrated. LIFESPAN: This game should keep people going for a while, considering that the game is kind-of like a two-in-one considering the differences between the two playable characters storylines. FINAL VERDICT: Overall, this game was worth Capcom s time and investment because it resulted in a great storyline, a fantasic eerie atmosphere and some stunning graphics This is an absolute must-buy for any Resident Evil fan.... Resident Evil (GC) ... the Resident Evil for the Playstation? The atrocious cut scene at the start that made you want to laugh and cry? The great plot let down by poor graphics? Well Capcom has decided that enough is enough and has decided to bring the original to the Gamecube. Not just a port...or an update in graphics, a totally new game. Gone are the pixellated graphics of the original, in come detailed character models and beautiful pre-rendered backgrounds. The plot has also changed, none has disappeared but another plotline has been superbly weaved in, the saddening case of Lisa Trevor, who shows up as an enemy every now and again. New enemies themselves are in, no more random sh... Read the full review: Resident Evil gets a makeover...now it is unrecognisable! Now it's better! by eisbrecher |
