Donkey Konga 2 (GC)

Quite simply, this is one of my favourite Gamecube games! I was sceptical at first, but with the excellent controller, which gives you a chance to drum ad clap yourself, and the clear way that the timing is illustrated, with the great songs and the good audio, this game is tonnes of fun! The best thing about this game is that the songs can be played at three different levels, depending on how good you are! The first level is easy, the second a little more difficult, and the first, well...more than one person playing can be useful! ****Donkey Konga 2-with Bongos**** This game is so fun,it has hours and hours of enjoyment.I would defiantly compare it to the likes of guitar hero but without the expensive price tag. With the game you get a drum controller and the game involves you having to drum and clap to the beat to what ever song is on. I've got a big soft spot for games which implement new hardware, I love Guitar Hero and Rock Band looks awesome, I'm also into any games that you can use a wheel or a gun. Never did I think however that Bongo's would be a peripheral that would be given away with a videogame. Thats what we have here though with Donkey Konga 2. A collection of little mini-games challenges , missions and tasks for you to complete while marching to the beat of your own conga drum. A Sensational idea from Nintendo with this and it's way haead of it's time preceeding the likes of Guitar Hero by 3 years or so. This game is a bongo banging musical multi player game up to 4 people can play providing they have the donkey konga bongos or gamecube remotes. The European version has songs such as REMs shiny happy people and loseing my religion, run away train by soul asylum, trouble and dont let me get me by pink, pumping on your stereo and man size rooster by super grass and a serge of official nintendos sound tracks to bang along with such as those from super mario brothers 3 and pokemon.
