Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (GC): ... for Speed Hot Pursuit is an alright game on the gamecube. Although it is not as good as its Need for Speed Underground counterpart it will rivet the average gamer. If you or your friend is a diehard fan of Need for Speed or you have played Need for Speed Underground before do not buy this game. The gameplay is ok. The handling and controls are also ok. I highly reccomend you purchasing Need for Speed Underground...

MilkyMalky SSX 3 (GC)
... always worries me when EA release yet another sequel to a game, as it often shouts out "Cash Cow" in big fat flashing neon letters. Milk a successful franchise for all its worth because you know people will buy it irrespective of the games quality. So forgive me for approaching on the side of caution, when I bought this game. Following on from the success of SSX Tricky (the game s predecessor), which I also owned prior to this purchase, I was tempted to see what improvements could be made to a game that I held in quite high regard. To those who are unaware of the SSX scene, its a snowboarding franchise which not only emphasises racing against competitors b...

babylove7 The Sims (GC)
... think this game is brilliant. basically the whole point of the game is to create your own family and work from the bottom up. first you have to build your own house and depending on how much money you start off with it may not be very big, and dont forget you need the furniture to go in it! the furniture all ranges in price and the more expensive the more comfortable it will make your sim. your sim also has to have a work life to keep the money rolling in, once again you start at the bottom and work to the top but this requires skills, so for example bookcases have to be bought to study cooking or mechanical or a guitar bought for creative skills! oh and you need the...

hogsflesh TimeSplitters 3 - Future perfect (GC)
... is a relatively recent first person shoot-em-up for the Gamecube (it’s also available for Xbox and PS2, but I don’t have either of those – the game’s probably much the same on the other platforms, except that they offer online play, which the GC doesn’t). As you might imagine, it’s the third in the Timesplitters series. Timesplitters 2 was probably my favourite first person shooter since Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 (the Timesplitters series seems to have been developed by the same people, and is still using Goldeneye’s game engine). The thing that I loved about TS2 was that it’s a lot more cartoony than most similar games, and although the graphics in TS3 are rathe...
