briangilmour FIFA Street 2 (GC): ... the football genre overcrowded nowadays? Yes, yes it is. But when I think back to the days of the Amiga, Megadrive and even the PSX, it was much worse back then, there were football games coming out of every corner and each one worse than the next. I think now because FIFA and Pro Evo have took over as the top dogs no-one else even bothers anymore. So what do we have here? Fifa Street 2 . Yes it s the sequel to an...

briangilmour NFL Street 2 (GC)
... on the old retro systems such as the megadrive or SNES I always had an NFL game, wether it be Madden or NFL gameday I would always throw one on and play it, I enjoyed it though I never understood what the plays were all about. I still have NFL games today but I just find one or two plays I like and stick with them which probably limits the game for me. With NFL Street you don t even need to worry about it, all plays are awesome and end with bonecrunching hard hitting action. Imagine getting a few mates in a park and start playing American Football, this is what this is. A great novel idea for a game and it really pays off. Graphics - Each character is highly detail...

briangilmour NHL 2006 (GC)
... are many sports in the world that are great to watch and many that are great to play. Of course there are some that fall into both cateogories such as football. However another category has to be created for games that aren t great to play or watch but ARE great to emulate in a videogame. NHL is hockey is one that fits right into this cateogry like a glove. Ice hockey has always been good as a videogame all the way back to the megadrive, it s really fast and addictive. Graphics - the 2006 edition boasts some special visuals, great detail in all the characters here and you ll really like how slippy the ice actually looks. The animation is very smooth as you play and...

briangilmour Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006 (GC)
... is a game that in real life I struggle to get into, I know lots of guys who play it, even my dad travels europe playing golf every year but it s something i m just not good at and therefore can t really get into the swing of it (Pardon the pun). But golf GAMES on the other hand, I am more than willing to have shot of. So this is the latest in the long line of Tiger Woods releases, what makes this one different? Well theres more courses and some more modes to get your tee into. Graphics - Excellent, I really like the look of the courses, the water, sky , bunkers everything looks fantastic. The green looks very smooth and realistic and the golfers themselves look good...
