This game was the first final fantasy game on a nintendo platform in a long time. However they had changed from turn based tactics into a new real time game. This RPG took away countless hours of my life (well over 40 according to my save data) In the game you are able to chose between 4 different races and they have different abilities. Some are better at magic, some all rounders, one is a good at defense and the other with good offence. .The story is told throghout the game as each year completes. to complete a year in game you must complete 3 levels. You start out as a caravaner for your town. And you must go out in order to bring back Myrrh to ... Read the complete review

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, when it was announced back in late 2002, had been kept under a very watchful eye. When Square-Enix signed the deal to develop for Nintendo, the big N urged them to develop a title that utilizes connectivity to some extent, but not make it mandatory. Later in the development process, Square-Enix themselves decided that the alpha version containing multiple GameCube controllers was a no go, and thus decided that GBA's must be included in the gameplay. This sparked a veritable wildfire of conflict between those that agree with the controversial decision wholeheartedly, and those that claim it as blasphemy. And thus, FF:CC had been put into ... This review is about the Gamecube game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles; it is the first Final fantasy that was made for the Gamecube. In this review I will talk about the game, what features, what’s new between this final fantasy and the other ones! In this game you get to create many things, the levelling system, it is all different compared to the original Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles has the option at the beginning to create your own character, yes I did say create your own character. You have 4 different types of people, then 4 different versions of them, like different looks. You can either have a male, or female to be your ... Read the complete review

Squaresoft have finally come back to their home console but is this latest edition to their final fantasy series anygood? At first everyone was a bit unsure about the real time system in the game. All others in the series had a turn based battle system and noone wanted it to change. Though as you play through you find that its actually not that bad. Your a bit limited with your attacks though. You start with a basic attack and 2 magic slots. As you play through you can gain new magic slots. The attacks are a bit repetitive as it is the same attack each time, but it is possible to do a small combo attack. In the game you have to play through a series of ... Read the complete review

Cast your mind back to Christmas 2002. Nintendo Europe actually dug into their pockets and advertised their little console with ?The Legends are Coming? showing us a mix of star games coming to GameCube in the near future including Zelda: The Wind Waker (already out in Japan) and Metroid Prime (already out in the US) we settled for the mediocre Starfox Adventures and the okay-but-we-wish-we-had-a-better-game-to-play Mario Party 4. Waiting is something we have to be good at and waiting for Crystal Chronicles is no exception. This marks the first Final Fantasy game on a Nintendo system since the SNES days (no, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance doesn?t count) and the fall ... Read the complete review
