... his friends do their best to look for Nemo despite their own fears of the sea and predators. The story really moved me. I cared about what would happen to the characters. Although I already had watched the film several times before and knew the result, I still felt nervous when I saw they were in danger. This movie is about 100 minutes long. While I was watching it I felt time flew. The close relationship between the father and son, and the sincere friendship between the undersea residents makes me think about h...more

Ive just discovered Lovefilm.com, a service where you can rent DVDs online and they'll send them to your door. I'll be reviewing the service shortly however, this review is of the first movie Ive rented from them, Finding Nemo. As I write there there are 101 other reviews on finding Nemo, clearly I havent read them all. But my op has a wee twist. Im doing it as a watch! Ill watch a scene then report back! Clever me! FIRST THOUGH - THE DETAILS.... A father-son underwater adventure featuring Nemo, a boy clownfish, stolen from his coral reef home. His timid father must then search the ocean to find him with the help of the darling Dory. ...  Read the complete review

Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo DVD Review (286 words)

Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo DVD Review Finding Nemo is about the lil' fish, Nemo, and his super-protective dad, Marlin. It's the first day of fish school for Nemo and his dad freaks about him heading out into the dangerous ocean. The next thing you know, Nemo is fish-napped and his dad must swim from one end of the ocean to the other to rescue the lil' guy! Finding Nemo's computer-generated ocean is full of animated characters that are an absolute blast. There is some real-world scenery, but the incredible graphics make it hard to tell what's real and what's not. They bring to life an ocean full of funny marine life, like ...  Read the complete review

That is why I prefer the simplicity of childrens films! I count Monsters Inc and Shrek among my favourite films, so I couldn't wait to watch Pixar's latest film, Finding Nemo. My friend wanted to see Cabin Fever, but I stood my ground, and it paid off - I loved every minute of it! The film is centred around, obviously, Nemo. Before Nemo (Alexander Gould), a young ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Finding Nemo (326 words)

Excellent film for both young and old. I took two of my grandsons to see it. The youngest is only 3 and he enjoyed it up until the point where the "friendly" shark appeared. Unfortunately I had to take him out of the cinema (I've since pre-ordered it so I can at least see the end). My husband stayed in the cinema with our eldest grandson and he couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. Even my husband enjoyed it said it was very entertaining. The basis of the film is about a couple of fish who move into an upmarket area to bring up their 400 babies. They are concerned that they won't fit in but the schools are very good in the area ...  Read the complete review
