Freedom Fighters is based in a hypothetical USA after the Soviet Union wins the cold war and invades America. You play as the "Freedom Fighters" of the title fighting back against the Russians. You play from a third person perspective and can use plenty of different weapons such as Machine guns, Pistols and Molotov cocktails as just a few options. The levels are divided so you can choose what order to complete them but they are interlinked. For example, you may have to destroy a helipad in one in order to destroy a bridge in another, which makes the initial playthrough slightly more interesting although doesn't add much to the overall experience.
