Looks can be deceiving. When I first saw this game on the shelf at GameStop, I didn't even bother with it. First of all, its called Gotcha Force - not exactly a cool, enticing title. I thought it was some lame kid's game. The packaging is pretty crappy too. If you go on popular review sites like IGN or GameSpot, you'll even see the game received mediocre reviews. I wrote the game off as trash until I stumbled over some gameplay videos of it on YouTube and noticed the comments were loaded with tons of fans who didn't have anything negative to say about the game. Most of you might be looking at this and thinking "This looks a little too kiddy for me", well I disagree, Gotcha Force is a great game well worth getting. You play as a boy called Kou, who befriends a miniature, toy-like robot named G Red. You are then flung head on into a war against these "Gotcha Borgs". The gameplay is good, the size of the arena's give you a good sense of freedom, you have a standard attack button that either uses melee combat or projectiles depending on your distance from the enemy and a special button, that needs to charge, but does a lot more damage.
