This is a fun game. I play it using my Wii console. I have played all of the Harry Potter games and this one and The Chamber of Secrets are my favorites. The graphics in this game are very good. This game is not nearly as hard to play as The Prisoner of Azkaban (which I did not enjoy). In this EA game you are completing side quests and trying to win the Triwizard Tournament. Every game has it Pro's and Con's lets look at them shall we-

Pros: Pretty easy to play. My six year old can actually play this game. The graphics are good and the sound is not distracting or annoying. I bought this game used for $7 so it was a great value for the money. You can choose at the beginning of each story element which character- Ron, Hermione, or Harry. There are neat spells you can cast and that you can combine your spells with another characters to make them stronger. You buy cards with collected beans to make your player fast, stronger, etc.

Cons: Sometimes it is hard to see where you are standing, you might have to move around to see better. I wish you could switch between the players while in active game play. The game follows the movie in some aspects but not as closely as it could have. It really annoys me that you can not make the players jump. Figuring out how to get to the buy cards area and how to set them up was a little tricky.

Overall Opinion:
I say if you are a Harry Potter fan, then buy or rent this game. It is fun and even with its flaws I recommend it. It is entertaining and one of the best Potter games made so far.

Summary: Harry Potter for Gamecube.
