Introduction This game starts with your mad uncle showing you around the farm. you get a choice of two dogs, and you get to meet the towns people, this gives the game a welcoming feel. Getting Started. Your uncle gives you your own house a cow, some money and some seed to get you started. You start with a basic hoe to prepare the ground for the seeds, you also get a heavy watering can to water your seeds. milk your cow twice a day and store the milk in the storage room, or sell at the market. There is a man called Van buying and selling goods, he will usually let you know hes there but check the diary to see when he's coming if you dont ... Read the complete review

The Harvest Moon games have been great ever since they originally appeared on the Gameboy. All following the same basic formula, the idea is to build and maintain your own farm, selling your produce in order to afford better machinery and become generally rich. Gameplay in Harvest Moon is generally really busy. Each day (which comes around pretty quickly, as game time is faster than real time) you have to water your crops, feed, milk and pet your cows, collect eggs from your chickens (and feed them), as well as feed yourself (I tend to go fishing) and try and save up to afford farm upgrades such as a cheesemaking building. You can also buy new seeds to plant ... Read the complete review

Harvest Moon. A couple of months ago, game had an offer where you could take 4 of your games and 99p, and swap for any new game prices £39.99 or less. I?d bought quite a few games on a whim in there previous sale for £1.99 each, that turned out to be not so good, so I took these, and 2 £1.00 coins to Game to trade. I got Metal Gear Solid for the Gamecube (Which was a disappointment, but that?s for another review), but there was nothing else that I fancied. The number 1 Gamecube game in the charts was something called Harvest Moon. I didn?t know anything about it, and the description did not appeal, but I thought that if I bought it as part of the offer, I could ... Read the complete review

Coming soon to a Gamecube near you is Nintendo?s genius new franchise, Animal Crossing. A life sim type game set in a cartoony world where you must simply lead a life. The game is inspired by Natsume?s fantastic long running game series Harvest Moon, the self-proclaimed farming sim (how the idea ever got commissioned I?ll never know) and a truly legendary franchise. Now Japanese titles like this rarely reach European shores and so it is with open arms that we greet Natsume?s latest outing, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. The game uses a chapter system, the first chapter introduces you to the farm, and it?s animal and the lovely lady?s that inhabit ?Forget-me-not ... Read the complete review
