I have played most of the games in the Resident Evil series on different consoles over the years and I have to admit that I do love them but to be honest with you with Resident Evil 2 is very similar to the first one so if you've got that one then it might not be worth buying this too, although is still enjoyable. The first game featured S.T.A.R.S members Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, whereas the main characters in Resident Evil 2 are new recruit Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. I love the Resident Evil series, and RE2 is in fact my favourite, so you might be wondering - why the low score? Well, after Capcom remade the original Resident Evil in gorgeous high-res graphics and even made a new title altogether in the same stead (Resident Evil 0), I expected that their GameCube release of the brilliant Resident Evil 2 would similarly be reinvented with stunning graphics.
