The funny thing about this game is that i believe it is an amazing game, but i dont enjoy the experience. This is the remake of the original Resident Evil, onto the gamecube. It features enhanced graphics and a few new rooms compared to the original. The basic story is the same (stuck in a mansion surrounded by zombies and lots of puzzles). The thing that amazed me about it was the graphics. They used prerendered rooms to walk around with fixed cameras. This meant that the graphics could be CG video standards. I remembered when i walked into one room and stopped. I thought that i was watching a video. The puzzles are amazingly ... Read the complete review

First of all, this is pretty much just a jazzed-up remake of the original on the PSOne, but then there is far more to it than that. GRAPHICS: Despite being a Nintendo Gamecube port, the graphics stand up pretty well and look as good as many games on the Wii. The characters look as realistic as they could, the pre-rendered backgrounds are easy on the eye and the zombies, aswell as the other inhabitants of the mansion, are more than up to scratch. STORY: As you might have guessed, the story is very similiar to the orginal but with more cut scenes. I would say that this is to make things a bit different to the original but it is a good as ... Remember the Resident Evil for the Playstation? The atrocious cut scene at the start that made you want to laugh and cry? The great plot let down by poor graphics? Well Capcom has decided that enough is enough and has decided to bring the original to the Gamecube. Not just a port...or an update in graphics, a totally new game. Gone are the pixellated graphics of the original, in come detailed character models and beautiful pre-rendered backgrounds. The plot has also changed, none has disappeared but another plotline has been superbly weaved in, the saddening case of Lisa Trevor, who shows up as an enemy every now and again. New enemies themselves are in, no more random ... Read the complete review

This is a review about Resident Evil for the Gamecube; it has been graphically enhanced to the Gamecube standards, which makes the game much more fun to play. This game is not short, it is very long, and scary, and also it has a good storyline. It also has bits which make you want to be scared, like when you enter a room, the door opens all freaky, like all resident evil games do. The game is set in a Mansion that is in the middle of a wood, which is surrounded by Zombies. This is the first Resident Evil game made, but they have made spin off’s and obviously, they have made a prequel, which is Resident Evil 0, I will be writing a review on that in my time. At ... This game is a remake of the PSOne original. the game has been improved with the graphics being improved a bit and standing up quite well on their own now. You now have more cut scenes in the game to add to the dramatic affect of the game. Depending on which character you play as it vaires on which characters you meet in game, and which ones go missing. Not a huge deal but a nice little touch to the game. The thing I hated about this game as always is the controls. the game has horrible camera angles, and the control system means that you cannot move and turn at the same time. On top of this in order to shoot you have to hold down the shoulder button to ready ... Read the complete review
