In the chao garden you get to look after little creatures called chaos (obviously) They are like virtual pets and you have to feed them and look after them. (there is no real point in the chao garden but it is fun when you are bored.) In the main game you can find little animals which you take to the chaos and the chaos get the features of that certain...more

Premium Review Sonic Adventure 2 - Battle (GC): "Live and learn, hanging on the edge of tomorrow.." (1017 words)

Originally released for the Dream cast it was re edited slightly to play and look better on the game cube release. This Sonic the hedgehog game has a lot more features than any other sonic game I have played before. Firstly we have the initial play through, play through as the good guys and the bad guys and then join forces in the end levels for a temporary truce to save the earth. On the good side we have Sonic the hedgehog, the super sonic faster than light blue spiky haired hero. His levels are fast the object is to just run through the levels and get to the goal at the end of the level. We have Knuckles the echidna hes the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review As good as the Dreamcast version (1549 words)

Infact, it's almost identical to the Dreamcast version. I hope to god Sega's shoddy conversion to the Gamecube format is limited to this game only, otherwise it'd be a crying shame ! I own Sonic Adventure 2 on my Dreamcast. I thought it was amazing, some great graphics, cool 'choons, awesome levels and landscapes. I played it so much that I completed it within 2 weeks (well i'm not that good really). Then when I heard a Sonic game was coming to the Cube, I said to myself "Thats the game i'm getting on launch!!" To be honest I really shouldn't of. Not that the cube version is worse then the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sonic Adventure 2 - Battle (GC): Sonic Adventure 2, No Super Sonic? (511 words)

This review is about Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, there are loads of functions for this game, and loads of other Sonic games. In this you go through the game level by level, and you do battles in some, with all 3D areas. There are battles with Egg Man (the main bad guy), and then you can battle Shadow (Sonic, but a test experiment) which you do at the end, depending which side you decide to choose. There are two sides, the Light side, which is Sonic and his team, which is Tails, and Knuckles, and then there is Dark Side, which is Shadow, Egg man and Rouge. They are both good, they have their own stories, but they both end up to the same ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Amazing graphics, well loved character! (158 words)

This was the first game that I bought for the Gamecube, and I was very pleasantly surprised! I thought that the graphics were absolutely excellent and the 3D perspective adds so much to the experience, that playing the game in 2D (for example, on the Megadrive), did not. I thought that the game was more complicated than most to start with, especially in the One player version, but I slowely got the hang of it and progressed up the levels. I really enjoyed this part of the game. I think that the game was well designed and that the levels were more exciting than they were in previous versions of Sonic. Sonic is, of course, another classic character ...  Read the complete review
