SSX On Tour (GC)

This is the fourth game in the SSX series. If you didn't know it's a snowboarding game, the first two were more arcade styled with whacky characters, unique and random levels and super special moves. This game continues the process of making the game more serious and realistic but still being fun to play. It is similar to the previous game but with some new features such as the option to create your own character, the option of skiing rather than snow boarding and also in the Gamecube version you can play as Mario, Luigi or Princess Peach. The Gamecube always reminded me of a more technically superior version of the Nintendo 64, i'm not sure if that was the intention but it defintley feels like that to me. There's so mnay games that you can see fitting a nintendo but not finding a home on other systems such as a playstation, and even when they do the nintendo refelcts and suits the game much more. With SSX On Tour this is one of those occasions, the game is basically snowboarding and ski-ing all meshed into one on different mountains and courses.
