I like the Gamecube as a console, and I like Mario and the other characters. SO, this was a must have game for me. When I first bought it I played alone, and I got quite good at the game, but it is a lot more fun when you play with your friends and family, and I think it is really much more sellable as a multiplayer game. The graphics are quite good and I like the characters, which are always popular! I like football and sport, but for a die hard football fan this is not the game for you- something more serious is in order. This game is just a bit of fun for time with your friends and family. Super Mario Strikers is a soccer game made by Nintendo for the Nintendo Gamecube. The game involves trying to score the most points in a game by kicking the ball into the goal and scoring. There is some twists in the game like the use of items and the ability to do a power strike. This game is nothing special and I don't really like it, but you might. If you would like to try this game, instead of buying it, rent it! This game supports multiplayer. I don't really have anything else to say about this game other then I don't really like it and if you do want to try this game make sure that you rent it first. Super Mario Strikers was released in the US in January 19, 2006. . Read the complete review

In my opinion the Gamecube was given a bit of a raw deal, It was a good system that should have been a bigger success than it was. They had original games and this is one of those. Sure it's another Mario title which although is an overpopulated brand you can't deny their amazing ability to churn out very fun playable games that look cool too. Graphics - Well they're very colourful and very cute as you see all your favourite Mario characeters battling it out on a very well presented soccer field. It looks great. Gameplay - Actually very fun to play, sure it's no realistic simulation but for arcade soccer it's a very good attempt. Sound - ... Read the complete review

This is a good game for anybody. Do you like soccer? Do you like the mario characters? Do you like fun group games? Do you like fast paced thrill games that will have you on the edge of your seat yelling? If you've answered yes to any of these question i'm sure you will find this game enjoyable. It's not the greatest game to play by yourself, but like the rest of the mario games designed for multiplayer, this is a thriller to be playing with your buddies. If the FIFA line is one that interests you, ou might like a faster paced, more lighted hearted version. Even though it is more light hearted than FIFA it still pack just as much intensity as FIFA.
