Advantages: Nice looking, lots of characters, fun singleplayer

Disadvantages: Very short and easy single player, similar to its predecessor

This game is one that is frequently described as one of the classic gamecube games - I disagree. It is certainly a good game , with colourful graphics,decent fighting gameplay, all of your favourite characters and a good multiplayer. However, I found that after completing the main single player game (in a few hours I might add), and a few multiplayer games with friends, I put this in a box and didn't play it again for about two years! This is not to mention the fact that the basic gameplay is basically the same as the N64 version which I also had - perhaps this is what influences my more negative than most opinion. Don't get me wrong, I still think that this is a fun and enjoyable game, I just don't think it is worthy of the kind of praise you might read in other reviews. That said, it is one of the best multiplayer experiences that you will find on the console.
