Advantages: Great amazing gameplay, multi palyer heaven

Disadvantages: Sometimes the game feels the same

If you have a gamecube you should have this game no matter what,
the graphics were good, the gameplay excellent an the number of characters is really good. Though it came out in 2003 it is a classic and one of the best games ever.

You find yourselves playing on this game for countless hours as the fun starts with all kinds of modes on offer such as classic, adventure and all stars. Then you have home run contests and trophys to earn. Over 300 trophies in fact, its got soo much to be played for. This game has also got the best multiplayer for 4 people you will never get bored. Furthermore on top of tha tis the number of options such as giant and quick battles, sudden death matches will keep you entertained for many many hours.

The game includes a target practise mode, where you have to break the targets in an increasingly deifferent setting for each character, and also harder. It's great fun.

Then there is also the brawls where you have to either defeat a certain number of character as quick as you can, or and endless one where you have to take down as many as you can in obviously an unlimited amount of time. They are generally on a harder difficulty making it hard to get past a 5 with some characters.

There are 25+ characters some of which need unlocking and ll have completely different move sets making it a wonder to play with each character.

The main game modes include the clacssic, adventure and all star modes. The all star mode is where you must fight through all the characters in the game in differing situations. The classic mode is similar to any other classic style mode in other fighting game. With 10 stages as you would expect. Much more arcade styled fights. Then there is the adventure mode. My personal favourite. I plays like a 2-D scrolled game, like mario, but with all kinda of enimes and at the end of some stages you get boss fights. Some ranging from characters on super hard difficulties, and other including 20 mini versions of characters to kill. Great fun when you include all the other bits of the adventure where you have to manouvere the levels. Great times.

In short get this game as it has all the features to make it a brilliant addition for anyone to own.
