I was always curious about this game as I had heard good things about it from friends, when i finally got it i found that i wasn't completley disappointed. The graphics are fair considering it's for the gamecube and quite an old game (I bought this when i had the nintendo wii as they are compatible). It's one of those that at first i did think that i wouldn't get into it, but it's amazing how easily you can get sucked in, i think for me it was the creativity factor of the whole game. My only real quarrel with this game is that unfortunatley there are times where it can take a long time to progress to the next level and some items are quite hard to unlock, bearing in mind ...

The main game itself is divided up according to different levels, supposedly as your Sim moves up in life. It begins with you living with your mother in a small house and by the end you are hopefully living in a mansion. Along the way you have to tidy the house, learn skills and get a job. While the game is fun for a little while, I found it became frustrating as some of the tasks you have to complete to move into a better house can be boring and repetitive, not to mention the time you have to spend doing nothing while your Sim is at work (although you can speed it up). i think this game is brilliant. basically the whole point of the game is to create your own family and work from the bottom up. first you have to build your own house and depending on how much money you start off with it may not be very big, and dont forget you need the furniture to go in it! the furniture all ranges in price and the more expensive the more comfortable it will make your sim. your sim also has to have a work life to keep the money rolling in, once again you start at the bottom and work to the top but this requires skills, so for example bookcases have to be bought to study cooking or mechanical or a guitar bought for creative skills! oh and ...
