Ghost Recon (GC) ... Recon is set apart from other First Person Shooters by its tactical approach - A few hits can kill and you lead a team of (intelligent) squadmates into battle. I really loved this game because nearly all the other shooters available for Gamecube allow you to take dozens of hits before dying or will provide you with medical treatment or something similar. No such help is on offer here, and the game is all the better for it. The missions are very difficult towards the end but there is a steady learning curve, and you can replay them in a number of different modes after you complete each level. Rocky (GC) ... didn t think I would enjoy a boxing game, so the main reason I bought this game was because of the link to the classic Rocky films. The game is perfect for fans of the film because as you progress you fight all of the classic fights that appeared in the films, and some others as well. Naturally you play as Rocky and luckily it is quite a realistic likeness which was important to me as a fan of the series. As you fight there is realistic damage to you and your opponent s bodies as you pummel each other around the ring.
