      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Not the first brand I'd go to, so I recomment you don't either,

The soil is my garden is very clay-y and so requires compost and manure each time that something new is planted in the border. This was on offer at my local garden centre - 3 bags for £12 - and since this was pretty much on offer constantly, and it was the only one provided I used this for a while.

At first the manure was of high quality and you could really see how much good it was doing for the soil. However, after a year or so I noticed a definite decline in the quality of the manure. In fact there seemed to be less manure and more padding out with slighty decomposed straw. The bag also claims to be 60 litres, but I am not 100% convinced about this. It also best not to do this in warm weather as the smell it truly overwhelming.

It still provides some good nutrients for the soil, but does have to be mixed with a good quality compost (I used home made compost made from general garden clipping and chicken manure). Because of this I would recommend you try another brand.
