This year I found a miraculous garden product which has saved us ££££'s. I volunteer for a local mental health charity and make up some very large garden pots for the courtyard garden. Theres no extra funds so we cannot afford to keep replenishing the compost and plants each year. As this courtyard garden is in shade I plant lots of Fuchsia and Buzy Lizzie which the dreaded vine weevil adore. The vine weevil (in its grub stage) is a fat, white, c shaped grub with a brown head and it eats away at the roots of its chosen plants; especially damaging to plants when they are in pots.
