Advantages: Fast Acting

Disadvantages: Doesnt clean up afterwards

I have recently become best friends with my bottle of Sanmex Fly and Wasp Killer. I carry it with me from room to room and all I need now is some kind of holster to keep it in.

This past couple of weeks there seems to have been an influx of wasps. Now I dont have a problem with wasps generally until they decide to fly around my face....that is not cool. Worse than that the past couple of days I have actually woke up in a morning to see a wasp appear from under the curtain and proceed to chase me out of bed. Now that is not acceptable. I like to vacate my favourite place when I'm ready not when a wasp decides its time.

I have fly spray in the house all the time anyway because flies in general really get on my nerves and the spiders in my house dont seem to be doing the job that they're supposed too.

Sanmex Fly and Wasp Killer is suitable for use as a household insecticide. It has a fast killing action for flies, wasps, mosquitoes, midges and other flying insects. It is also formulated to conform to the requirements of BS4172 as a household insecticide.

Directions for use;

Shake well before use. For quick knock down, spray directly at insects from a distant of 3 to 5 feet. For general use to clear room of insects, first close all doors and windows, then spray in short bursts around the room. Evacuate the room and close the door. Keep closed for 10 to 15 minutes.

When spraying make sure all food is covered, along with fish bowls as the insecticide is harmful to fish. And of course dont spray near animals or people.

I personally go for the quick knock down option but I think i'm generally closer than 3 to 5 feet because I need to know that its going to work quickly. Unless I'm near a window of course. The Spray is really fast acting, within seconds of spraying the wasps are on their backs wriggling around and it doesn't take long for them to die. I dont like having to kill them but just lately they have been leaving me with no choice and i'm convinced that i'm going to get stung if I dont deal with the problem straight away. I do try to guide them out the window if they're near enough but alot of the time this is not the case.

The bottle is blue in colour with a red lid and contains 300ml of spray. I'm not really sure how to describe the fragrance but it is not unpleasant and is not overpowering. Unless of course you've gone crazy chasing that one wasp whilst emptying the whole bottle, then you may find the spray a bit too much.

You can buy Sanmex Fly and Wasp Killer for about £1.50 from places such as Wilkos or most Supermarkets.
