Perhaps the Yorkshire common house fly is a tougher breed, or the can of Sanmex fly Killer I puchased was defective in someway; who knows? What I do know is that I found this product pretty useless and certainly not "Fast Acting." All the flies I sprayed in the normal, instructed manner seemed to recover after only showing signs of irritation. Now showing a few signs of irritation myself, as a previously spayed fly lands on my computer screen for the tenth time, I sprang into action and caught it in a glass. I then sprayed fly killer directly into the glass, covered it and placed it on the window sill. Four hours later, the fly was on its back and still alive! Clearly I should get out more and my can of Sanmex Fly Killer was rubbish.

This morning at about 2am I was frantically spraying this into our back porch. Recently I've noticed we've had alot of flies (this could be my fault as I kill spiders!) and we always get more than our fair share of mozzies as we have a pond in the garden.
