Advantages: Quick short-term results

Disadvantages: Cost, long-term effectiveness

Weedol is all well and good for getting rid of weeds in the short term, but there is nothing as good as pulling them up by the roots to ensure their long-term absence. Also, Weedol does not seem to work on some of the more 'difficult to shift weeds' such as nettles and goosegrass. I also think it is very expensive for a short-term solution. I'm afraid there is often no easy alternative to the old-fashioned method!
