Pan Strawberry Tub: ... pan strawberry tub and net covering.... I bought one of these strawberry tubs quite a few years ago, as i thought they would be a great way to grow strawberries. The prices have changed a lot as i think i paid £19.99 .they are now around the £30 - £40 mark depending on where you buy one. I would also suggest that if you are definately want to buy one, then buy one at the end of the season, when they are redu...

quissue Pan Potato Barrel
... is a plastic barrel which is hexagonal shaped which has a sliding door compartment so you can collect your potatoes easier from the base of the container once they have grown. It does this by opening up a little area in the base big enough to allow you to get to the potatoes that are laid bare and you just pick off what you want until the five seed potates you planted run out of new potatoe shoots. Simple easy to use and cheap at £39.99 which is now £29.99 in some garden shops. Simple as one two three. Just fill container with soil medium or compost and soil mixture with some fertilizer for the growth process. Plant up to five seed potates in as deep as four i...

rosiesmum Pots, Troughs and Planters in general
... are many things that can be used for displaying plants and shrubs in the garden and I do like to use unusual containers. I filled an old wheel barrow up with marigolds and pansys after spraying it a bright blue colour and it looks really good down by the shed. When my tumble dryer packed in I removed the nice shiny drum and planted a cherry tree in it that has had quite a few comments from visitors. I do buy the occasional pot if it is interesting and a good bargain and after trying to make a tall container out of hanging baskets I gave up. It neede to be sturdy and I just was not getting anywhere so I had a look round our local B and M store to see what they had...

Pendle Keter Garden Store
... bought a Keter shed from B&Q last month, under the label GREAT SPACE HIGH. My first disappointment was that only when I opened the package were its limitions made obvious. I.E, on the back page of the brochure. Assembly was reasonably easy except for putting the roof onto the front side uprights. The upright door holding former had gone concave and it was difficult to marry the male fitting of the roof into the female fittings. Over the weekend light breezes changed to gusting, strong winds blowing the roof off, making it neccessary for me to reassemble it three times (finally bolting the roof on). I would say to anyone thinking of buying this shed only do so if...
