Argos is always one of my first choices come the summer time if I'm on the lookout for new garden furniture. I like to have a look around sometimes but this year, for the sake of convenience, I used the Argos website because I'd heard there were some good savings if you bought early on this year. In the past I've had everything from the plastic sets to the fancy wooden patio sets and never had much cause for complaint. I wouldn't recommend the plastic sets if you can afford wooden from here but then I don't think I'd recommend them from anywhere to be honest. I find they're easy to break after six months use so you might as well invest in a decent ... Read the complete review

In a few of my previous reviews I may have mentioned once or twice that Mr Lools and I have started a large project in our garden, planting, digging add a decking area, with patio heater and decking lights. I am pleased to say that the gardening project was finished two weekends ago. The garden; in particular the decking area looks fantastic. Unfortunately our 3 years old green plastic patio set looked extremely out of place on the decking and we had to look for a replacement. After shopping around in a number of DIY stores stocking garden furniture Mr Lools and I called upon the trusty Argos catalogue. We were looking for a patio set more stylish than the ... Well to start off I would like to say sorry if this is in the wrong place I'm still pretty new to Dooyoo. Now on to this new table we bought last week for our kids we got it in Argos for £27.99 and it really is a great table, it has four chairs included with it and it also folds down to the size of an average suitcase nd is really light to carry. So far this table has been used in the yard,at the beach, and even in the living room as a dining table as we do not have much space for a dining room set up, usually it is a case of eating with the plate on your knee. This table is a strong durable weatherproof plastic and has 4 metal framed covered ... Read the complete review

I bought the The Atlantic Patio set from Argos for the bargain price of £98.00 last year - it comprised of a glass topped table, 4 high back steel framed foldable chairs, a big black brolly, and 2 steel framed sun loungers. Compared to some of the other ranges where you can pay £40.00 for a sun lounger on its own (which looks exactly the same as the one included), I thought this was a fab deal. The Atlantic Patio Set is still available, but they are now billing it as a 6 piece for £78.29, with the 'Special Offer' option of buying 2 sun loungers for an additional £20.00 - so it is still pretty much the same deal, just worded differently. The table ... Read the complete review

I bought a wooden and metal garden bench from Argos. It has a metal decorative back with wooden slats to sit on. It is also at the less expensive end of the price band for benches at just under £25. For the price I think you get good value for money. It is sturdy enough for sitting on but it wouldn't be very stable if you were to stand on it. It is also quite comfortable for sitting on but if you wanted to spend all afternoon on it you would probably be looking to find some cushions for extra comfort. It is reasonably well finished with the wood being nicely smoothed off so no splinters but you can tell that it is mass production line rather than ... Read the complete review
