Advantages: Cheap, and you can colour it to suit you

Disadvantages: The seat lats are a little springy

Having been on the lookout for a garden bench for some time and seeing the prices well over £60 I was a little dubious about the bench offered by B&Q at £25 so I went to investigate.
It's a self assembly bench that comes in a plain wood finish. You can varnish or stain the wood to suit your tastes. The assembly was relatively easy as some of the parts were pre-assembled and all that is required is screwing the bits together. Once assembled it is remarkably sturdy and having used mine for a month or two it is very stable. The lats of wood that form the actual seat are a little springy but are more durable than I expected. You can buy a covered foam cushion that would make the bench more comfortable but it is probably cheaper to make your own.
Considering the savings over some of the other benches I've seen I think it is well worth the money.
