If this rhythm is fast a lot of cracks will appear and the chiminea will have to be recycled. On windy days we must cover them otherwise it will make a crack on them. Do you know what is behind of a clay chiminea? It really worth to take a look to it may be you’ll be as amazed as I am. The expertise and work required to manufacture a chiminea is simply unbelievable. First we need to figure out what kinds of clay are we going to use, then we add water. We start doing the mix dancing over the clay pushing it with our feet until we get perfect texture, moisture and consistence in order to start working.
