I ordered this watering can online which was a big mistake as the quality is not very good. I bought it because I was getting tired of carrying the plant pots to the sink to fill them and then carry them back, depositing them where they live around the house. This is a nice small watering can with a long spout making it good for indoor use as it does not cause much splash back as you can direct the water straight into the soil.
==Price and availability==
This was quite an expensive watering can considering it is made from cheap plastic. I think it costs so much because of the specialised design. The watering can costs £7.99 and is available from Gardening sites and multi-purpose sites such as Amazon.
The watering can is green and it holds 1L of water. It has a small hole at the top for filling from the tap and a handle located at the rear of the vessel. The spout comes from the bottom of the tank which means you can easily get the last of the water out. The spout is quite long and this is so you can direct the water into the pots so you do not get splashes everywhere. The watering can is made from plastic and it is finished really poorly. As the two sides of the watering can are joined, there is spare plastic that looks unsightly.
The watering can is poorly made and the extra plastic from the moulding is all around the handle. This means that when you are carrying a full can, the plastic cuts into your hand and it feels very uncomfortable. For the £8 cost, I expected much more for my money. This is not good value for money. Despite this, the watering can is easy to use and much easier than carrying the plants to the sinks. The watering can spout is good for directing the water into the pots and into the soil as it gets between the leaves. It does not cause any splashing or unsettling of the soil.
This a well designed watering can in terms of the positing of the handle, the spout and the size. The downside is the finish the watering can has been given, it has bits of plastic where they shouldn't be and these make it uncomfortable to hold. I will not be recommending this as I think that you can probably get a similar designed watering can that is finished to a higher quality.
