... is you fill the roller with sand which isn't included with the roller to make it heavier, once full it will weigh 85 kg which is really heavy and there is no way I was going to be able to pull or push it at this weight so I only half filled the roller to make it light enough for me to use, it did mean I had to roller the same area a few times but I got the job done.
I was attracted to this style of roller for the above reason; I wanted something I could vary the weight in so I could use it on my own.

When I first moved into my house the garden was a right mess with lumps and bumps every where, we got the garden as flat as we could by hand but before laying the turf we needed to roller the soil to get it as flat as possible so I invested in this garden roller for £89.99.
