B&Q Ladies Extra Grip Gardening Gloves:
... are quite stiff when I first bought them but were great for keeping my hands safe I have a lot of thistles and glass on our new allotment and was pleased that none managed to get through the gloves into my hands. They are very warm even on the coldest of days. The wrist adjustment is great as it not only keeps the wind out but means that one size fits all. The colour isn t that great if you re not that girly bu... Read the full review: good buy by nikki20022008 |

Town and Country The Gardener Ladies Gloves ... would never call myself a Master gardener but I do like the Master gardener ladies gloves that Town and Country professional sell. We may not be spending too much time in the garden at the moment but on days like today ( sunny here) it is possible to get out and do a bit. It is great to get some good fresh air into your lungs as well. When I am gardening at home I tend to use the lighter gardening gloves because I can `feel my fingers` far better but if the Other Half needs a helping hand on his allotment I will take my heavier latex gardening gloves along with me. I don t think that these Town and Country ladies gardening gloves are dear at all, considering that they... Read the full review: Just the Job. by Emmald |

Haxnicks Small Fleece Jacket ... are much like human beings, some are hardy and can withstand the hard frosts and many just cannot cope with the bitterly cold frosty nights that come with our Winters. Only a couple of nights ago I had to put a couple of outdoor pots into the greenhouse because they had forecast a hard frost. I suppose in an ideal world everything that looks as if it could be tender should be planted as near to a wall or a fence as possible so that it is at least semi-protected. But the garden centres have such an assortment of plants that it is quite easy to get carried away and buy what you fancy rather than what could be seen as a sensible purchase. If any of your plants get ... Read the full review: Slip into your Coat. by Emmald |

Tesco Bromeliad Pot ... are all right I suppose, though personally I d say the bromeliad family has so much better to offer in the way of houseplants. Still, it s Guzmanias that you see most often in garden centres and supermarkets these days, as they have showy red, orange or yellow flowers and are relatively easy to keep (and presumably, as they re a shorter-lived type of bromeliad plant, quicker to grow to maturity for the commercial horticulturalists who supply this type of plant). They generally cost from about £4 - £6, largely dependent on the quality of the usually ceramic pot-holder the plant has been placed in. Bromeliads are native to North and South America, where most s... Read the full review: Five stars for bromeliads in general, but only four for the ones you get in Tesco by worst_trip |
